Sunday, August 26, 2007, 04:42 AM EST [General]

Welcome back Hollywood fans! I've got new info to share so let's not waste any time and get right down to business:

    NEWS

Kirstin Dunst's hotel room was robbed! While filming her new movie How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, Dunst, who was staying at the SoHo Grand Hotel in Manhattan, had her room broken into by a group of thieves.

They reportedly stole a $13,000 handbag, $2,500 in cash, 2 digital cameras, credit cards and ID cards, a cell phone, and an Ipod. The hotel's surveillance caught the thieves leaving and led the authorities in the right direction. One suspect, Jarrod Beinerman, was being held on a $50,000 bond after being arraigned on Wednesday for burglery and grand larceny charges. The authorities have since been able to recover the credit and ID cards, as well as the cell phone.

Britney Spears was reportedly pulled over by a Highway Patrol officer on a Southern California freeway Friday night. The reason for Spears' pull over was not formally released, but the ever-present photographers say that speeding was the cause. Whatever the reason, she was let off with a warning.

Hey Gwen Stefani fans. Gwen has been having a lot of success in and out of the studio. She's currently on tour for her new album, her clothing line L.A.M.B. has really been taking off this season, and she's married to one of Great Britian's hottest rockers, Gavin Rossdale! But remember before she was the amazing Gwen Stefani and she was better known as the fun and funky lead singer from No Doubt? Well it's been awhile, but No Doubt is back in the studio! At least some of No Doubt is. The other 3 members of Stefani's band are reportedly in the studio working on a new album and will be joined by Gwen as soon as her tour, clothing line, and family can spare her. I for one cannot wait to see in which direction this new album will go.

That's all for now entertainment insiders. Check back in soon to see how The Nanny Diaries did in it's first weekend of box office sales.

    Until next time!

Lindsay Lohan, Good Luck Chuck & More!

Friday, August 24, 2007, 04:32 AM EST [General]

Hey Everyone, it's Entertainment Diva back again to give you all your entertainment needs! I have a bit of news to share and some recommendations so sit back and read up:

    NEWS

The Lindsay Lohan verdict is in. Lindsay plead guilty to both counts of D.U.I. and reckless driving as well as no contest to two counts of possession of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

    Photo: WireImage

When all was said and done Lindsay released this statement:

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.

Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges in my case. No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have.

I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so."

We wish Lindsay the best and can't wait for her big comeback movie!

    Entertainment Diva Here!

Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 01:42 AM EST [General]

Hey there all you Hollywood honeys, Entertainment Diva here! I'm going to be bringing you all the entertainment news that you need - from who's dating who, to who's doing what. I'll keep you informed on all your favorite celebs and new rising stars. I'll also be keeping you up to date on the latest movies, TV shows, and albums coming your way. So let's get started!

    NEWS!

    High School Musical 2

High School Musical 2 aired Friday night and it certainly proved itself in ratings. With just over 17 million viewers tuning in to watch, it became the most watched show in basic cable history. Pretty impressive for a Disney Channel made-for-TV movie.

    www.vanessa-online.com

With the recent success, there is already a High School Musical 3 in the works for theaters in 2008. Looks like the cast is in for more success, so sing on Zac and Vanessa!

    One Tree Hill

All you "One Tree Hill" fans must be excited for the shows return this Fall! With Tyler Hilton's recurring guest role trimmed down, there is a spot to be filled and it looks like that spot is going to none other than the newsworthy K-Fed! Thats right, Kevin Federline will be appearing on the show as Jason, a frontman for a rock band called "No Means Yes." I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

    UPCOMING SHOWS!

Alright all you "Alias" fanatics, Michael Vartan is back! Along with Dylan McDermott and a few other hunk-a-licious actors, Vartan will be staring in ABC's "Big Shots," a show about the inside life of a CEO. I just happen to have the inside track on this show, I am the Entertainment Diva after all! A friend of mine works on the show and it promises to be one of the hottest shows of the Fall season. The pilot is fantastic and it looks like the male version of "Sex in the City," a little risque and a lot of intrigue.

"Big Shots" will premier Sept 27th at 10pm on ABC.

    UPCOMING MOVIES!

Trying to keep up on everything in the entertainment world, I went to the movies this past weekend and saw a trailer for the movie August Rush. I can already tell that this is going to be a favorite for all you "chick-flickers." I couldn't even make it through the trailer without tears falling down my cheeks. I'm labeling this movie as a Must See!

    Picture: Cinema-blend.com

Starring Freddie Highmore (Finding Neverland), Keri Russel (Waitress), and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Showtime's The Tudors) the movie follows the story of an orphaned musical prodigy who uses his music to find his parents who are in turn looking for him. With more star names like Robin Williams and Terrence Howard, this movie is one of the most promising that I have seen in a while. Be sure to look for it in theaters this November and remember to bring plenty of Kleenex!
