BRITNEY NEWS

On Tuesday, a judge ordered random twice-weekly drug and alcohol testing for Britney Spears and ex-hubby Kevin Federline. So what's a pop star to do after an order like that? Party of course! Britney was spotted at two different West Hollywood nightclubs Tuesday night, Winston and Hyde, with friends Avril Lavigne and Alli Sims. Although witnesses told People.com that they saw multiple drinks on the table, they didn't see Brit actually drink. Who says you have to drink to have fun!?
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon also ruled that Spears and Federline may not consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances at least 12 hours prior to being with their children.
According to In Touch Weekly, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, are finally expecting a baby. After trying for two years to get pregnant, the couple finally turned to in vitro fertilization. Sources told In Touch that she had an ultrasound performed in a New York office on September 12th and the tests showed she was about 12 weeks pregnant. The source went on to explain that the doctors think that the couple may be expecting twins, but because of the way the fetus was laying it wasn't possible to be sure.
Congratulations to J-Lo and Marc, we sure hope it's true!
THIS WEEK'S GUILTY PLEASURE
I'm loving Ashley Tisdale's new music video "He Said, She Said". Sure it's not a deep exploration into the musical world but it's catchy and Josh Henderson (Step Up & Desperate Houswives) is totally dreamy! Watch and enjoy!
There's a reason it's called a guilty pleasure, so are you loving it?

Highlights of the Primetime Emmy Awards Show
If you missed out on the Primetime Emmys Sunday, September 17th, then you missed quite a night! There were several speeches that were blacked out for content, plenty of hilarious moments, and some fantastic red carpet looks!
Newcomer 30 Rock and the now retired The Sopranos walked away with the most wins of the night. 30 Rock won for Best Comedy and the show's creator, Tina Fey, thanked their "dozens and dozens of viewers" in a funny moment.
Plenty of acceptance speeches were not just silenced, but they were also blacked out when a blank screen was put up for viewers when celebrities needed to be censored. Katherine Heigl was given the silent treatment when she blurted out an expletive as her name was called for Best Supporting Actress. Sally Field was also bleeped when she began talking about the war in Iraq, and comedian Ray Romano was silenced when he discussed what he's been doing at home to keep busy now that Everybody Loves Raymond is off the air.
Funniest Emmy Moment: This moment goes to Steve Carell, Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert for a prompt-to Emmy giveaway. When Ricky Gervais was named Best Actor in a Comedy Series but was not at the event, Jon and Steven claimed they were giving the award to their "friend Steve Carell," who raced up onstage and began celebrating.

Britney Performs at the VMA's
Photo: WireImage
The MTV VMA's aired last night and it was pretty good, with the highlight definitely being Rihanna's numerous performances. It had a rocky start though, with Britney Spears making her comeback performance with a new song from her upcoming album. Unfortunately, it was completely lackluster and looked thrown together at the last minute. What happened to the big Criss Angel collaboration? Britney looked tired and unenthusiastic during the entire performance.
Rockers Fight!
In the middle of the awards ceremony, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee got into a fight. According to TMZ.com, Rock punched Tommy Lee in the face but only after Tommy Lee provoked him. Tommy was escorted from the building and Rock fled the scene missing his on stage appearance. There is no word yet on whether Tommy will press charges.
Justin Timberlake & Rihanna Stand Out!

While JT, Timbaland, 50 Cent and others certainly had amazing and big rap/r&b performances, I felt that the rockers were pushed to the side and didn't get center stage the way they should have. The only exception was Linkin Park, who totally rocked the mic! Between performances and awards it was clear that the big winners of the evening were Justin Timberlake and Rihanna. Congrats to all the winners and we can't wait for what the next year in music brings.
AND THE WINNERS ARE...

Best New Artist Gym Class Heroes
