As far as movies go, I have definitely been craving some girl power. That's why the emergence of the sequel, Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2 is a such a wave of relief! The movie isn't due out till Agust 8th, but I'm counting down the days.
Three years later we find our much beloved girls embarking on the next stages of their lives. The lifelong friends are beginning separate paths to their first year of college and the summer beyond, but remain in touch by sharing their experiences as they always have. Along the way, they discover themselves and each other and come to appreciate the deep bonds that they share.
Since the first film, the actresses have all come a long way. Alexis Bledel has finished Gilmore Girls and this is her first project since the season finale. America Ferrera has turned herself into a household name with the title character on Ugly Betty, and she has an Emmy and a Golden Globe to show for it. Blake Lively scored the fabulously fashionable lead on Gossip Girl and Amber Tamblyn has been working up a storm starring in seven movies on the big screen and as well as television.
