Re-Nutriv Ultimate Youth Cream
New in skincare is Estee Lauder's Re-Nutriv Ultimate Youth Cream. It promises to prolong youthful vitality, preserve youthful smoothness, and promote youthful tone. I've been using it for about a week and it does make my skin soft and give it a nice radiance. The product is quite creamy in texture but doesn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin.
Slenderize Guilt Free Lip Glosss
Too Faced has teamed with FUZE to create Slenderize Guilt Free Lip Gloss. It is available in Strawberry Melon, Blueberry Raspberry and Dragon Fruit Lime. This gloss is unique in that it's infused with the healthy, delicious fruit flavors and appetite curbing energy boasting ingredients found in FUZE Slenderize beverages. I apply the Strawberry Melon after a meal and say no to dessert!
Now you're in the know about what new and notable in beauty, so go out and try some of these new products!
Queen Latifah is looking for everyday women of color, ages 18-48, to appear in an advertisement for her own line of cosmetics, the CoverGirl Queen Collection. All who enter will be required to submit a photo and a brief statement about why they feel that they too are a "Queen."
Queen Latifah will judge the online search and will select up to 5 winners to appear in a CoverGirl Queen Collection advertisement that will be seen in the June issue of Ebony magazine.

SkinMilk is a new one-of-a-kind skin care collection of bath, body, and face products made with real milk proteins and essential A, D and E vitamins. It also boasts the lovely scent of vanilla, sure to calm and soothe your senses as well as your skin.
Two of my favorites from the line are:
From SkinMilk Bath, the SkinMilk Shower Gel - This feels wonderfully creamy coming out of the tube onto your skin but rinses clean with no residue. Once out of the shower, you can feel the moisturizing properties going to work with White Lily and Comfrey botanical extracts which soothe and moisturize the skin. I love to take steaming hot showers and baths (yes, I know that is a skin "no-no") so I need all the help I can get with skin pampering.
From SkinMilk Face, theSkinMilk Foaming Face Wash - I find many face washes to be too drying, even when they claim to be gentle. While this one did foam up, it did not strip my skin of its natural oils. A little goes a long way with this product too, which I appreciate. I will keep this in my skin care arsenal!
Exfoliating your skin at least once a week is a healthy regiment to keep up with, and it's especially important in the winter. Harsh weather and cooler temperatures leave your skin dry and yearning for moisture; the best way to make your favorite moisturizer absorb into the skin is to get rid of dead skin cells and scrub away toxins. The result? Fresh and glowing skin no matter how dismal the weather may be! Here are a few great body scrubs we think will do the job just right:
Murad Energizing Pomegranate Body Polish Scrub
Whether you've had a stressful day or need an at-home spa night, this energizing pomegranate body polish scrub from Murad is a real treat. Pomegranate is chock full of antioxidants, and this formula provides plenty of moisturizer and protective ingredients to make your skin glow. This scrub also contains glycolic acid for a refreshing boost.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Scrub
When it's time to play the princess of pampering, reach for a rich and luxurious treatment of shea butter. Shea butter is one of nature's most powerful moisturizers, and this body scrub is infused with a hefty dose. Your skin will benefit by immediately absorbing the moisturizing ingredients in the bath or shower, leaving you with smooth and supple skin for the days ahead; just apply a generous layer to your skin (especially elbows and knees) during a hot shower for instant results. L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Scrub is a royal treat year round!
Bliss Hot Salt Scrub
When you want some real refreshment, try a salt scrub that gets rid of dry skin and smooths away rough spots in an instant. This hot salt scrub is made with self-heating ingredients to boost circulation and infuses skin with moisturizing ingredients at the same time. You'll leave the shower glowing and energized; it's a great way to start off a hectic day ahead, and works just as well as a pre-bedtime stress reliever.
Aquolina Chocolate Lovers Creamy Body Scrub
If you just can't kick those chocolate cravings, why not try a new form of indulgence? The Aquolina Chocolovers Creamy Body Scrub is made with cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and mango butter to completely hydrate and nourish the skin. It's the perfect excuse to reach for more chocolate; and enjoy super-soft and silky skin in the process!
We all know that Scott Barnes is famous for doing the makeup of stars like Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Lucy Lui, but are you aware of his sleek, sexy makeup line that can help you look like a star yourself?
The newest addition to Scott's line is his Eye Ice, a loose powder eye shadow that will transform your eye makeup each and every time you apply it, and, you won't believe how it puts the spotlight, front and center, on your precious peepers! There are many luscious colors wonderful to use on the lid as well as for an eyeliner applied with a wet brush. I simply adore the Versailles Eye Ice. Nothing says holiday to me like a sophisticated, glittery eye!
Also don't miss Scott's Creme Color; it can be used as blush, lip stain or longer lasting lip color, or as an eye shadow base. This multitasking product will save room in your makeup drawer and it's great to carry in your makeup bag for touch-ups.
Enjoy the holidays, and remember it is always a fun time to shake up your makeup routine with new colors and different techniques. Party on, Divas, party on!
